Whew!
Well there you go.
A six part story that can be read in any order you want.
The cop
The addict
The ordinary guy
The girl
The crook
The older cop
I had to write all six story lines at once, and when drawing it I had to always remember where everyone was supposed to be. Tricky.
I hope you noticed that I rendered each one differently too, because I think everyone experiences the world differently.
I hope you noticed too that they may all be different people, but they're all sort of the same too, with a lot of the same thoughts and emotions.
Well anyway I'm off on Hoilday now for a while so see you in a week or so.
wow. I just realised why each one had a different coloring effect. you're a genius, bro.
ReplyDeletedoes that mean the older cop is the most sober of them all?
Cheers

I would love to see a printed copy - excellent work, as always. Have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteThis is really fantastic, Spleenal! I'd really like to see it formatted as a poster. Not that I have a large enough monitor to do that justice or anything, I'm just imagining all six stories side by side on a single sheet.
ReplyDeleteTeensiest suggestion, churlish to point it out: Mustache Trimmer, I think the older cop means to say?
I almost forgot about this guy since he wasn't in the story until the end.
ReplyDeleteVery nice way of telling the story!
Bravo, Spleenal.
ReplyDeleteThis rocks Spleen! Love the multiple storyline and the way you've threaded them all together. Great concept; excellent work!
ReplyDeleteI discovered your blog through "Bent Objects". Your work is just awesome. "D'une grande classe"

I want more of this man, moreeee.
This is great, thank you!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely epic. But don't you Britons drive on the right side of the car rather than the left?
