"If I decided to stop drawing cartoons in favour of writing about my life, You dear reader would probably stop reading."It's the imagery that carries the often tragic, spank-happy, psuedo-you into the domain of the more general and entertaining and stops it being a straight forward biography of a clearly very busy man with some challenging desires. Fascinating if at times a bit manic. Your coffee table must be an interesting read! Keep 'em coming ;-)
I agree with whatever the guy in the box above me is saying.Seriously though it's the bits of you that go into Spleenal and the dark parts that make him work so well. I would love to see Spleenal with arthritis (well, not really, but you know what I mean) there's so little good stuff done like that I think it would both work really well and fit a bit of a niche. I hope your mum is doing ok.BG xPS. I tried the never stopping thing. Don't bother ;)
I think 50%Sorry to hear about your Mum.I hope you don't stop writing anytime soon.
"If I decided to stop drawing cartoons in favour of writing about my life, You dear reader would probably stop reading."I really like that your life drives your cartoons and your cartoons drive your life. My guess on % content real? 18.2756%For what little it is worth regarding your mixed feelings towards your mom, she was probably doing the best she knew how. Maybe she knows better know, maybe not. You know better and you'll do better. The little gems like the bed fort spleenal builds with his kids in defense of the dinosaurs or the panel when they are laying on the floor together give us insight into the strong, caring playful father you are.Plus you are just too damn funny!Keep up the good work.Tux
